Felix Pie Fractures Ankle

Uni-President 7-Eleven Lions outfielder Felix Pie has been initially diagnosed with a fractured right ankle after fouling a ball off his foot during the second half of Sunday's doubleheader against the Lamigo Monkeys.

LTN Sports (Mandarin Chinese) reports that Pie will be re-examined on Tuesday to see whether surgery will be needed.

It's an unfortunate break for the former MLBer as he was off to a nice start in the CPBL with a .300 average and a .550 slugging percentage in his first five games. Pie's biggest hit was a two-run, walk-off single last Wednesday, one at-bat after hitting his first home run.

  1. Fifty percent of the injuries occur in the sports field due to over exertion or some other reason of the players and they need Physiotherapy North Ryde to get rid of their injuries and fit again to play better for their clubs and countries.
