- Monkeys RF Yang Yao Hsun put up one of the best offensive stat lines of the season, which included home runs in both the fifth and sixth innings and 12 total bases. The impressive performance comes after hitting the game-tying, three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth against the Lions on Sunday. He has won back-to-back game MVPs.
- Monkeys C Lin Hung Yu hit a towering home run in the first that cleared the outfield bleachers and left Chiayi Stadium. He has a 25-game on-base streak, dating back to last season.
- Monkeys CF Yu Te Long extended his hitting streak to 12 games.
- Brothers 2B Lin Chih Sheng did not play due to a hand injury sustained on Saturday. His 82-game on-base streak is on hold.
- Brothers SP Andy Sisco is struggling with command to start his 2016 season. He has issued nine walks in 7.2 IP.
- Brothers SS No. 14 Wang Sheng Wei had his 24-game on-base streak and 11-game hit streak snapped.
