- Game MVP Fang Ke Wei hit a two-run homer early in the fifth inning and the Rhinos would tack on another four runs to finally help snap their seven-game losing streak. Rhinos starter Tsai Ming Chin would go five scoreless innings, limiting the No. 1 offense to just three hits while walking none and striking out four.
- The Rhinos had scored just five total runs in their previous five games before tonight's 12-run outburst.
- MVP Feng Ke Wei set a new career high in home runs after he swatted his third homer of the year, and second of the night, in the ninth inning. The six RBI were also a single-game career high.
