  • Lions starters Liao Wen Yang had a career night as he pitched a complete-game shutout over the Rhinos, allowing just six hits and a walk and striking out two. It was his first career complete game and he needed a career-high 128 pitches to accomplish the feat. 
  • Both Rhinos' Luo Guo Lin and Lions' Lin Chih Hsiang, who yesterday left the game with injuries, were not in the line-up today. 
  • Liao's complete-game shutout was the first in the league since April 3, 2014.
  • Lions OF No. 8 Luo Guo Long finished the day 3-for-4 with a pair of runs and two RBI. He is now hitting a cool .366.
