• Rhinos SP Scott Richmond was in control all night, allowing just a solo home run to Pan Wu Hsiung in the first and five singles through the next seven innings. The Rhinos picked up Richmond in the sixth inning when Lin Che Hsuan hit a double then stole third and scored what would be the game-winning run after a throwing error by the Lions' catcher. 
• Rhinos starter turned reliever, Ni Fu Te, worked a perfect ninth to pick up his second save in as many chances. 
• Lions 2016 first- and second-round picks, Su Chih Jie and Chen Jie Xian, made their CPBL debuts tonight. Su played second base and finished 0-for-3 with a costly error (see video), while Chen came in as a pinch runner and stole a base. 
• MVP Scott Richmond has not lost to the Lions in his last five matches and is 4-0 over that stretch. 
• Rhinos' Hu Chin Lung was back in the lineup after a hand injury kept him sidelined for almost two months. Kao Kuo Hui was not in the lineup after exiting yesterday's game early. 
• With the win, the Rhinos move into first place, half a game ahead of the Lions. 
• The Lions lead the season series 15-11. 
• This is tough to watch if you have parts of the male anatomy.
