  • The Lions exploded for seven runs in the first inning off of Monkeys SP Mitch Talbot to kick start one of their most dominant wins of the season. They would add nine more in the fifth off of a few relievers and cruise to the win.

  • Lions' first overall pick Su Chih Chieh hit a home run after hitting two long balls yesterday. He totaled five RBI as part of his Game MVP performance. 
  • Lions SP Pan Wei Lun has set a new CPBL record by going 40 consecutive innings without walking a batter. 
  • The Lions had 26 hits off of five Monkeys pitchers. 
  • Monkeys SP Mitch Talbot saw his ERA balloon from 3.93 to 4.86. 
  • Monkeys C Lin Hung Yu extended his on-base streak to 38 games. 
  • Monkeys CF Wang Po Jung hit his fifth home run in the past four games. 
  • The Monkeys lead the season series 20-18 but are now four games behind the Rhinos for first place in the second half.
