Game Notes:
- Guardians 3B Lee Tsung-Hsien took Zack Segovia deep to break a 1-1 tie in the fifth inning and Fubon held on for the 2-1 victory, the team's second consecutive win on opening weekend.
- Both starting pitchers were brilliant tonight. Fubon's Chris Seddon earned the win in his first career CPBL strart, going six innings and giving up six hits and one earned run. Lamigo's Zack Segovia pitched an eight-inning complete game, giving up six hits and two earned runs while punching out nine.
- The Monkeys threatened in the ninth and had men at second and third with one out, but Guardians closer Ni Fu-Te was able to get out of the jam for his second save in two nights.
