Game Notes:
  • Lamigo's starter Zeke Spruill continued to cruise on the mound, dominating the Guardians' batters to become the first starter in the league to have a complete game shutout victory. The import pitcher has won four starts in a row. His 11 punchouts tonight is also a career high in the CPBL. 
  • With Spruill's stellar performance, the Lamigo Monkeys have won three straight games and they have defeated the Fubon Guardians seven times in a row.
  • Lamigo's shortstop Lin Cheng-Fei belted his first home run of the season in the top of the ninth, a little icing on the cake to extend Lamigo's lead to double digits. He went 2-for-4 with an RBI and has hit successfully in three straight games.
  • Lamigo's slugger Wang Po-Jung went 3-for-5 with three RBI and scored a run. He has successfully reached bases in 21-straight games.
