Game Notes:

• The Brothers offense pounded out nine runs off of Lions starter Alfredo Figaro, with the majority of the damage coming in a six-run fourth that saw the Brothers send 11 batters to the plate. The Lions made a game of it late as they brought the go-ahead run to the plate in the ninth, but Brothers closer Chen Hung-Wen nullified the threat, striking out Yang Chia-Wei to secure the win, the Brothers' 20th of the year. 
• Brothers SP Cheng Kai-Wen was serviceable in the win, going six innings with 10 hits and three runs. Cheng issued a pair of walks and struck out five. 
• The Lions smacked 18 hits in the losing cause, led by Kao Kuo-Ching who finished 3-for-4. Kao was hit by a pitch in the eighth inning and couldn't finish the game. 
• The teams stuffed the box score as the clubs combined for 22 runs, 35 hits, and four errors. 
• Game MVP Chiang Chih-Hsien raised his average to .397 with today's four-hit performance. He also swiped two bags, his first and second of the season.
