Game Notes:
- The Guardians put up crooked numbers in the second, third and fourth innings to chase Darin Downs and give Mike Loree more than enough run support as Fubon won its second in a row after losing eight straight.
- Loree got back on track after his worst start of the season, giving up three runs in seven innings and earning the win against the league's best team.
- Coming into the game, Fubon had taken just 176 walks in 70 games, 70 less than the next closest team. Tonight they drew three.
- Fubon's Lin Yi-Chuan notched his 1,300th career hit and is the fastest in league history to reach the milestone.
- Lamigo could have itself a catcher problem after Huang Hao-Jan's injury. Today's starter was Liu Shih-Hao but he's hitting just .184 and was yanked after this play in favor of Yen Hung-Chun.
