Game Notes:

  • The Monkeys broke open a tight game by scoring eight times in the top of the fourth—with three of the runs coming on a Wang Po-Jung bases-loaded double—and cruising to a 14-7 win over the Brothers.
  • Monkeys second-round pick Lin Lee made his CPBL debut tonight and decided to impress his teammates by going yard in his first at-bat. He hit an RBI single in his next at-bat and finished the night 3-for-5 with three runs, two RBI, a stolen base and game MVP honors. Not bad for a rookie!
  • Zack Segovia picked up his league-leading 13th win of the season by throwing seven innings and giving up four earned runs on eight hits. He has a personal four-game win streak over the Brothers.

Game time: 3:16

Comments

  1. Rookie Lin Lee made an impressive debut and proved to be another master stroke by Lamigo's skipper Hung I-chung. While it is the same old issue facing the Brothers throughout the season.
