- Bruce Billings was quality tonight, going six innings while giving up three runs on four hits. He struck out six and walked two.
- Lions SS Chen Chieh-Hsien has reached base safely in 32 straight games and has not struck out since August 4, a total of 72 at-bats.
- The Lions snapped a four-game losing streak.
- The Monkeys lead the season series 22-10.

DeleteLamigo looks about the same minus some big opening game draws last year.
Brothers are big losers as their hone games in Taichung haven't done as well as when they were in Xinzhuang last year.
Fubon is doing better as they moved from the south to the north.
And the Lions overall look like the are drawing less than last year
