• The first perfect game in CPBL history! No walks, no hits, and behind some excellent fielding, Ryan Verdugo threw a perfect game. 

• Two foreign starting pitchers (Brothers Nick Additon, Lions Ryan Verdugo) made the pace of the game pretty fast. Lions players reached base in the first, fifth, and seventh innings but they did not score any runs.

• To the critical bottom of the ninth with the score still tied at 0-0. Enter the first hitter, Guo Fu-Lin who hit a walk-off home run off of Yang Zhi-Long, breaking the tie and winning the game.

• Ryan Verdugo not only set a CPBL record but led the Lions to their fourth straight win over the Brothers.
