Notes:
- With the Monkeys winning the second-half of the season, the Brothers are out of contention for the postseason. The two teams’ backup players came off the bench tonight with the Lions Fang Chang-Yong and Yang Jia-Wei giving excellent performances in the game.
- Fang Chang-Yong hit a game-winning double in the fourth inning, giving the Lions a 2-run lead, notching his first RBI of the season. Yang Jia-Wei went two-for-three, including a solo home run in the fifth inning, taking the MVP award.
- With a no-hitter game last time, Elih Villanueva had the responsibility to snap a 3-game losing streak to the Lions. To everyone's surprise, he gave up nine earned runs through five innings, dropping him 2-4 on the season.
- Though Lions and Brothers each had 16 hits tonight, the Lions’ hits were more coherent. Ten men came to bat in the sixth inning, scoring five runs, sealing the Lions 10-6 victory.
- The battle for most hits was in full-tilt tonight as both Brothers Wang Wei-Chen and Lions Chen Chieh-Hsien had two hits. Wang still has a slight lead at 157 to Chen's 155.
