• The starting pitchers of both teams performed admirably tonight. Monkeys SP Michael Nix finished seven innings giving up three earned runs while Brothers SP Nick Additon dominated the game with an MVP performance. (Video)

• It would be an unforgettable night for Monkeys RP Lai Zhi-Yuan and Brothers RP Cheng Jia-Yan as made their CPBL debuts.  Although they did not fare so well in the game it is still a memorable milestone. 

• Brothers pinch-hitter Lin Chih-Sheng launched a pinch-hit homer in the ninth inning, the first home run of the CPBL this year. The former all-star, designated to pinch-hitting duties this year, hopes to attract the attention of general manager with this shot to get more opportunities to play. (Video)
